Restoration

The movement as supplied. The owner retained the rest of the clock as he only wanted the movement restored. The main reason being the state of the fork arbour which will be apparent from the photos a little later. The first things to note are the nut on the front arbour stop is wrong. And the end of the fork arbour is plain steel instead of a silver button with groove for the Silver Contact Spring.
The bottom of the movement looks OK with all the nuts and screws present.
