This short movement clockette dates from 1930 and sits on a mahogany base under a glass dome. Unfortunately the glass dome is missing. It is unusual in that it still retains the brass shipping pendulum locking spring plate stamped on one side with “Bulle” and the other with “Pull”. This bodes well for the rest of the clock as it must have been looked after throughout its life.
The dial is in pretty good condition with just a couple of marks where the hands have touched the dial. The hands themselves are a little rusty and will need cleaning and painting.
On closer inspection though we find that the minute shaft has been snapped at the hole for the hand securing pin. This is a big problem as it means the shaft will need to be repaired or replaced.
