This Bulle movement sits on an oval ebonised wooden base with a crystal dome (retained by the owner). The obvious things to note here is the dirty condition of the silvered dial. This looks to be years of tar from cigarette or a domestic fire . It should clean off OK though. The dials on these crystal domed clocks are engraved and silvered but are difficult to restore if damaged because the chapter ring is not separate from the dial and silvering is therefore difficult to achieve without also silvering the rest of the dial.

No major damage was found with this clock .

The pendulum casing will need to be repainted.
