Eureka Nº 7979

This clock is a tall movement on a round pressed brass base with the serial number 7979 as usually found on tall Eureka; from 7000 upwards. The dial is in perfect condition as are the hands. In fact the whole clock is in good working condition and just looks as though it needs a good clean. The amplitude of swing is a bit low on a standard 1.5v battery but this should increase to about 360 degrees with a new contact set. The movement has two ball bearings with steel plates.
