Bulle Nº 776

This unrestored Bulle clock is the earliest serial numbered clock I have acquired.

The movement is of the “Boxed Half Plate” type and originally had a 700 Ohm resistor to compensate for the 650 Ohm coil.

The fork arbour is broken and the pawl assembly missing. I will have to repair the arbour and manufacture the missing parts. Altogether though a lovely early original clock.

The column is soldered to the collar which attaches it to the base.
