This clock is a tall movement in a four glass case , the top and bottom of which are mahogany, while the verticals are of brass. The glass and verticals have been retained by the owner. The movement is a two plate version dating from about 1925. The coil casing still retains its original cord and the owner has requested that it be kept if at all possible. I will try and cover it while I clean the casing. The hands are of the fine spade type on a dial of aluminium alloy.

The one thing to note about this clock is the column. This looks to be plated in some material like nickel. It is very bright with no tarnish evident and no lacquer.
