This is a short clockette on a round wood base. The dial does have some marks but these will not detract too much from the general look of the clock once cleaned.

It all looks to be reasonable shape and hopefully won’t prove to be too much of a problem.

The top and underside of the base. At first glance the marks on the top looks just like dust but they are in fact small pits in the surface layer which means that the top at least will need to be cut back and French polished. The sides will probably come up OK with some wax and wire wool. It is always best to try and leave as much of the original as possible. The underside shows the extra wiring added at some time in it’s life. All this will be removed and put back to its simple manufactured state.
