Bulle Nº 10392

This is another absolutely fascinating Bulle clock. It has a green marble base with all the brass ware bolted right through instead of screwed or pushed in as an interference fit. The dial is formed alloy inserted into the normal pressed brass surround. But the surround itself has been completely silvered to match. The edges have worn down to the brass but the silvering can be seen on the back and where the outer curve is pressed back into the dial. But what is most interesting is the Isochron adjuster. I have only seen this on one other clock but that was in a wooden case with one end attached to a graduated dial in the wood. This one is a free standing attachment with no dial. The only problem seems to be the usual acid burns in the tube. Other than that this is going to turn out to be a beautiful and rare clock.
