Bulle & Eureka battery clocks, restored and documented

I carried out Bulle and Eureka restorations and repairs until 2015, when I had to stop. Since then the site has stood still, and having first been set up in 2005 it was getting rather long in the tooth. In 2026 I used Anthropic’s AI assistant, Claude, to redesign it and add new content.

The restoration notes, photographs and guides are all my own work and are unchanged. What’s new is a page for every clock in the gallery, a “Find a clock” search, and a set of articles in the Articles & techniques section. Claude compiled the articles by drawing together themes from my restoration notes and looking for supporting information online. Where outside sources have been used, they are credited at the end of each article.
