Description
Oblong Label -
Many Bulle clocks are found minus the brass label that normally adorns the front of the wooden base on tall movements. The label will normally be in French or English depending on the designated market. They are manufactured from brass and then etched and black filled. The other type of label normally seen is the oval French type which is etched in reverse with the charecters highleited in black.
I hope to be offering the the first oblong type for both English and French by the end of February. The artwork has been approved and I am awaiting the proofs. These reproduction labels are manufactured in the same way as the originals albeit using modern production techniques and are the same size and shape. If your clock is missing an oblong type label then Iafter checking wether it is a French or Britsh dial then a replacement label is now available.
