For those of you who are also missing the base or have a base that is wrong then I also supply new bases that are exactly the same as the original in shape and size.  Before placing an order please check the inside and outside diameter of the groove where the glass sits. On original bases this should be from 175/176mm to 185/189mm. On some bases that I have measured the wood has shrunk and bowed across the grain and the grove will then be oval. To the extent that the internal diameter can be 172mm in one place and 183mm at right angles to it. As you can imagine the bottom of the groove will not therefore be flat. The only thing to be done in theses cases is to machine the grove to a smaller dimension and square up the bottom of the groove at the same time. But there is only a small amount that can be taken off due the the width of the curved magnet. This is around 170mm end to end. In such cases the smaller, commercially available, dome will probably then fit.  Please check your measurements before ordering.

These domes have been specially manufactured to fit the Tall Bulle Base. They are of excellent quality and have been moulded over a former to the correct shape. They, therefore, have no seams or ridges. If you have tried to source a dome for your Bulle you will know that the standard dome quoted as "180mm" is in fact 175/174mm or less internal diameter. This is too small to fit the standard base. Many a Bulle can be seen with the wrong dome that sits half in and half out of the groove. This detracts from the aesthetic appeal of the clock as well as it's value.
